Câu 1 là "had cancelled" vì câu này thuộc thì quá khứ giả đề cập đến thời gian trong quá khứ. Trường hợp này là tưởng tượng một tình huống ở quá khứ. Form: imagine/suppose/supposing +past perfect

=>The next patient was too weak to stand up.
2- The Colombian coffee costs less than the Kenyan coffee
=>The Colombian coffee isn't as expensive as the Kenyan coffee
3- When she had to walk to supermarket she finds it tiring
=>She gets tired when she had to walk to supermarket.

5- You can't understand these things because you are very young
=>You aren't old enough to understand these things.

Staying home would be better than going out tonight
=>I'd rather you stayed at home instead of going out tonight.
10- It was your father's wish that you should become an engineer
=>Your father wanted you to become an engineer.
